Dear friends and colleagues,

through this mail I would like to bring your attention to the Contact Festival in Japan, which will be happening from march 14-28 this year.
I just heard that this will be the last time that Chico Katsube and Shoko Kashima will be organizing their festival.
So if you thought: "Yeah I heard about it but will go another year", it's time to see if there isn't a hole in your schedule this year!
Chico and Shoko are wonderful organizers and they bring to gather great East-Asian dancers and musicians.
And ofcourse dancing is always a nice way to arrive in a country and meet people and see places. This is certainly true for Japan!
The Japanese Yen hasn't been a strong currency the past years, so actually being in Japan is not nearly as expensive as we tend to think in the West.
On the website of the festival there is a lot of useful info about travel, cheap accommodation and things to do. There are for example Japanese style inns with dormitories, which are very ok. And there are abundant possibilities for eating out, some very cheap and wholesome.
The website is: http://www.geocities.jp/sholoverfg/festival/cn3/index.html
It would be great if you could pass this mail on through your network, to anyone you think might be interested!
Warmly,
Natanja den Boeft

This is such a great advertisement from our strong supporter, Natanja! Wish this gets EU plpe's attention! jija
